Double back onto the lower path.

Signs tell cyclists to ride on the right here, which at the moment is very muddy.

These signs where a cyclist was killed on NCN route 65 (Danger! Road crossing, cyclists dismount) make no sense in this direction.

Awkward barriers (but these tandem riders ay the York Rally can get through ok) where a cyclist was killed by a motor vehicle - obviously it's impossible to calm the traffic, so let's make life hard for the cyclists instead...

Why on earth is there an End of Route sign so far from the road on NCN route 65?

Many drivers ignore this ASL in York.

The car stopped in the ASL. The cyclist pulled up alongside but didn't go into the ASL. The car waited till he was clear. Just as well.

Weird - this traffic light has an advanced cyclist phase Monday to Friday only. Why turn it off at weekends and cause confusion? (With a stylish trike and rider attending the York rally.)
