[Image taken 8.9.21] Haxby Road, York at exit from/access to Foss Islands Way. Someone has cut the briars [see: #173640] that came over the hoardings of the Cocoa Works site and created potentially painful hazards for pedestrians. The hoardings are very high. This may be why the briars were left on the pavement. However, they are now a trip hazard and the thorns could puncture tyres of children's cycles or balance bikes. Not a good advert for the developers (safety, maintenance, attention to detail, community awareness/commitment to...) Other image today: #173877.
