[Image taken 19.7.22] York rail station, York. [NOTE: No street view at this location.] The cycle in the top rack has two locks. The red D lock is through the front wheel and the rack. The cable lock is through the frame, the rear wheel, the helmet and the rack. When I looked at the cycles in the top racks more were secured front and back – due to ease of access. You pull out the entire tray and so it is ‘easier’ (not necessarily ‘easy’) to get a lock round more parts of the cycle including the front wheel. Compare with lower rack: #184939.
